Chocolate, banana walnut, carrot or all three - take your pick for a mug cake that’s quick, delicious and delightful. All you need is a microwave and a mug to give the staples in your kitchen pantry a scrumptious makeover!
Flour | 4 tsp |
Sugar | 4 tsp |
Cocoa powder | 2 tsp |
Water | 2 tsp |
Oil | 2 tsp |
Vanilla essence | ½ tsp |
Top it with some broken chocolate or a scoop of ice cream for extra indulgence!
Refined or whole wheat flour | 2 tbsp |

Baking powder | ½ tsp |
Cinnamon powder | ¼ tsp |
Nutmeg (optional) | a pinch |
Salt | a pinch |
Refined or coconut or olive oil | 1 tbsp |
Water | 3-4 tbsp |
Grated carrot | 2 tbsp |
Soaked raisins | 1 tbsp |
You may substitute refined flour with wheat flour and regular oil with olive oil.
Banana, mashed: | half, medium-sized |
Refined or whole wheat flour | 2 tbsp |
Milk or non-dairy milk | 1 tbsp |
Refined or coconut oil | 1 tbsp |
Honey | ½ tbsp |
Cinnamon powder | ¼ tsp |

You may also add some chocolate chunks for a gooey texture. Top it with caramelised banana or whipped cream for complete decadence!
