It's that time of year again when we welcome the Chinese New Year with a hearty Gung Hoy Fat Choy!
And this time, it's the year of the Ox.
Legend has it that Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one.
Considered a creature of benevolence world over, in East Asia the Ox is looked upon as one of mankind's most valuable helpers. Dedicated, honest, patient and relentless in its perseverance.
What's interesting is, the most famous Ox in history seems to have found his place under the sun, with a stellar start this New Year – ladies and gentleman, presenting… the year of Barack Obama!
