A timeless classic – bourbon & cognac seamlessly meld into a this heady concoction.
30ml Cognac VS
30ml Bourbon (preferably Makers Mark/Jim Beam Triple aged/Woodford Reserve)
5ml Absinthe (or pernod)
Dash Peychauds Bitters
In an old fashioned/rocks glass, add the absinthe. Top glass with ice and water. Allow to chill.
Add all other ingredients to Boston glass
Discard contents of the old fashioned/rocks glass then strain into the old fashioned/rocks glass.
Garnish: Lemon Twist
